Spout No. 63, Fountain of 99 Spouts in L'Aquila

The face is the 40th along the central side (the 63rd in the whole sequence), between 2 red tiles, before the red tile to the right a further rectangular white tile. The figure represents a strange creature, with the top part of the body resembling a fish tale, and the lower part human-like, with 2 large cavities for the eyes. This figure is in the corner between the central and the right side of the fountain.
