• It can easily be reached by motorway A14 Bologna - Bari or A24 from Rome, and there are bus and train connections to Teramo, Pescara and Ancona.
• The nearest airports are the Aeroporto d'Abruzzo, near Pescara (90 km south) and the airport of Ancona (100 km to the north).
• Beautiful itineraries are available just across the border into the Marche region, with its wealth of medieval boroughs, Loreto, Frasassi, Ascoli Piceno. From Ascoli a fast road leads into the heart of Umbria. To the west, less than an hour's drive, is the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, and the A24 leading to L'Aquila, Avezzano, Rome. Going south through the A14, all the destinations of southern Abruzzo are less than 2 hours' away.
