Tourist Information

• Located about 200 km east of Rome, Pescara can easily be reached by A24-A25, exit Pescara Nord or Sud. From the Adriatic it is connected to the A14 through the A25. State Road SS17 connects the city to L'Aquila.
• There are train connections from Rome to Sulmona, and to the cities of the north and south Adriatic (Ancona, Venice, Bologna, Bari) [trains timetables and tickets can be found on the official Trenitalia website]
• Just outside of Pescara there is the International Abruzzo Airport where it is possible to pick up rental cars. Rome airports can also be reached in 2-4 hours depending on the traffic.
