In the Middle Ages the Evoli family, one of the most prominent families in the region, had their center here. In the 16th century the fiefdom passed to the Di Capua and later to the Francone.

Events and Festivities

  • On the day of the patron San Basilio Magno taxi drivers come to have their taxicabs blessed in the village square, while in the hamlet called Pietraromana a procession is held with a blessing of the fields.
