Ortona - Composer Albanese buried near Tosti and Cascella / Guido Albanese sepolto vicino a Tosti e Cascella
The remains of Guido Albanese, buried in Rome since 1966, will be brought back to Ortona, next to the other two great artists, his uncle Francesco Paolo Tosti and Basilio Cascella. Albanese's most famous song was "Vola vola vola", the Abruzzese most famous song. He also wrote "Che sciabbenedette Urtone", "L'aquabbelle" and "Ti vuojje bbene".

From the UNO palace to Central Park, Stefano Maione from Chieti, 25 years old, supported by his coach Vittoriano Cantera, was 31st among over 8,000 runners. He weeps when he remembers what he saw among the ruins of the WTC, when the fire workers let him pass to leave on the spot flowers from Abruzzo.
