A journey back in history along the Piceno Aprutina state road, connecting Teramo to Ascoli Piceno: the fortress of Civitella del Tronto, the Italic necropolis at Campovalano; Campli with the palazzo Farnese, Santa Maria in Platea (XIII century), the Church of San Paolo with the Scala Santa; Teramo with the ruins of a Roman theater and amphitheater, and the Cathedral; Santa Maria a Vico, in Sant'Omero; and wines (such as the Controguerra D.O.C.) to accompany the dishes typical of the area.
