Two Abruzzese works by painter Luca Giordano (1634-1705), nicknamed Luca Fapresto for his wide production of hundreds of works, will be on show in Naples in Castel Sant'Elmo until 3 June, then in the early 2002 in Vienna and Los Angeles. A great catalogue was prepared for the occasion. In Abruzzo he painted the Visitazione in the Madonna dei Raccomandati, San Demetrio ne' Vestini, stolen 15 years ago, and the Madonna del latte kept in a bank in L'Aquila. The article offers a beautiful reconstruction of the painter's development.
