An emigrants' story. In 1947 the Di Nicola family left for Argentina with their children. One daughter, Maria, in 1955 returned to Italy to get married when her sister Mirella was only 6. Since then they never met again. An Italian Tv talkshow paid the air ticket to Mirella and prepared a very moving Easter surprise for her 70-year-old sister, who was in the audience of the show. All Loreto was in tears.

Benedetto del Tronto the train stops at Pescara and San Vito, then moves to the lake of Bomba, Villa Santa Maria, Quadri and Castel di Sangro then all the way back. The Train will be travelling only on weekends and holidays. Art and Architecture in Lanciano, nature in Bomba and great cuisine in Villa Santa Maria are the main features.

Giuliano Teatino - Nonna Beatrice turns 100 / Nonna Beatrice ha compiuto 100 anni
Beatrice Gagliardi was 100 years old on 5 April, and on Easter day there was a great party with the mayors of Giuliano Teatino, where she lives, and Tollo, where she was born. Nonna Beatrice had 7 children, six of them with her first husband Achille Di Paolo and one with her second husband Vincenzo Farinacci. Five generations joined for the party. Her secret, a very healthy life.
