Canada - Morto in Canada Nazzareno Perrotta
Nazzareno Perrotta, 70, original from Celano, died yesterday. In British Columbia he started a road construction company, and was also active as a TV journalist in Prince George. Great sorrow in Celano, Prince George and Vancouver, where Nazzareno, dear to everybody for his generosity, fairness and easy way, will be deeply missed.

Of the four children of John Fante (1909-1983) only Dan followed in his father's steps. Two of his novels were translated into Italian and published by Marcos y Marcos: «Angeli a pezzi» (Chump change), with a recollection of John Fante's last days, and «Agganci» (Mooch) where hero Bruno Dante meets a young drug-addict Mexican girl.
