This Sunday 18 march the "Festa delle Oasi", 132 protected areas all over Italy. One is the Oasi delle sorgenti del Pescara, Popoli, inhabited by wild ducks and herons. The program: excursions, games, and "pranzo al sacco". Special carriages and horses available for people with disabilities.

The Fuochi di San Giuseppe tomorrow mark the beginning of the celebrations for the Giostra cavalleresca. The tradition, abandoned for long years, was resumed in 1994: in piazza Garibaldi 7 big fires will be lit as a sign of good omen.
