Montesilvano - An archeological treasure / Un'antica fornace in contrada Tesoro
In contrada Tesoro an ancient furnace was found, used between the first and 5th century A.D. for ceramics, especially to make some typical flat-bottom amphors. Also stamps with the name of owner Gnaeus Herranius Geminus were excavated.
