Paolo Giordano, teacher of music and guitar player, will be today in the "All stars guitar night" among such artists as Lerry Corriel, Joe Beck, Danny Gotlieb, Mark Egan, Adrian Legg.

The daughter of former Israeli Yshak Rabin, Dahlia, will receive in Sulmona the prestigiious prize, to the memory of her mother's great engagement in the peace issue. Artists, actors, literary personalities from all over Italy will come today to honor the award.

Policemen from eight municipalities (Catignano, Brittoli, Carpineto della Nora, Cepagatti, Nocciano, Rosciano, Vicoli e Civitaquana) will meet today to celebrate their patron, carrying coats of arms of their municipality. Thanks to the priests of Civitaquana and Catignano for organizing the event.

During WW2 the roccolani were afraid they were going to abandon their homes, while the front was advancing. They prayed their Madonna and the troops changed direction, sparing the place. The miracle is celebrated every 19 january since then.
