Mosciano Sant'Angelo - Ruffini day, by Pietro Stacchiotti
On a very special Befana 140 descendants of the family gathered in the memory of their ancestors, Carlo and Nicola Ruffini, who moved to Mosciano in 1770 from Morrovalle, province of Macerata. Among the many Ruffinis present, the President of the Province, Claudio Ruffini, and the family genealogist, Ivano Ruffini.

52 scenes in the alleys and square of the historcal center for the 6th edition of the Living Crib. Among the scenes, a Roman camp complete with horses, a lake with a real stream, livestock in their stables, hundreds of characters and bagpipe players in the light of torches, the census taking place in a square with a donkey coming with Mary and Joseph, everything necessary to recreate that special night.

Basilio Cascella is well known as a painter, engraver, and also photographer. Exhibition open in corso Umberto, Pescara until 31 January Monday to Friday from 9 to 13 hours on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his death. 56 works 30x40 from Media Museum of Pescara. In the photos all the less known aspects of 19th-century Abruzzo, and portraits of humble women and men against the backgrounds of mountains and clouds.
