Archbishop monsignor Giuseppe Molinari says the farming world needs more attention. On the Jubilee of agriculture workers, there was a wide gathering of farmers and breeders from the whole Province. The union of farm workers also organized a national day of the countryside, called "Campagna amica".

To celebrate the second year of activity of association "Tra pastori e pescatori" this evening the chefs of the six best restaurants of the region will gather in Villa Maria, Francavilla al Mare: Lanfranco Centofanti (Angolo d'Abruzzo, Carsoli), Carlo De Sanctis (Angolino di Filippo, San Vito), Andrea Beccaceci (Giulianova), Marcello Spadone (La bandiera, Civitella Casanova), Bobo and Rita Colombo (Ribo, Guglionesi), Carmine Cercone (Caldora, Pacentro), Peppino and Angela Tinari (Villa Maiella, Guardiagrele). Aim of the celebration is raising funds for stone sculptures by Pasquale Liberatore to be placed in the Turchino Bay, San Vito Chietino, one of the most picturesque beaches in Abruzzo.
