Montesilvano - 104 candles for nonna Lucia / 104 candeline per nonna Lucia
Lucia Faieta, widow of Pasquale D'Atri, worked for 60 years in her grocery shop. She remembers when they escaped to native Collecorvino in 1943, and when after the war she gave credit to all the starving people of the area. Around her a son, two daughters, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Francavilla - 104th birthday / Festeggia 104 anni
Giuseppe Fornaro, former railway employee and a "cavaliere di Vittorio Veneto" for his submarine service in WWI had his birthday party on 12 june, though he is certain he was born on 11 june 1896, on the day of the Madonna dei Miracoli. Still in perfect health, he lives by himself near one of his three daughters.

During the historical meeting on Val Vibrata and Val Tronto "Il confine nel tempo. Marche e Abruzzi dalla preistoria all'Unità", 35 scholars produced surprising contributions, like a political map of 1600 , Renaissance publication by the Facii brothers. Ancarano is at the center of the research since it was a possession of Ascoli, before being acquired by the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies

Farindola - Feast of patron saints Sant'Antonio and San Vincenzo / Briscola e musica in onore dei protettori
Two days of music, celebrations and card-playing. The program also includes fireworks, the Città di Castilenti band, a briscola game with a sheep as first prize, a concert with Abruzzese singer "N'duccio", soccer match and lottery.
