Pescara - Exhibition on Urban Development / Mostra sullo sviluppo urbanistico di Pescara
In the State Archive, near the harbor in Pescara, a trip through documents and images on the urban development from the 1920's to the 1940's. A twinship also with the National Museums of Helsinki, Stockholm and Rotterdam. On show an invaluable city plan of the year 1882.

Lancianovecchia, one of the four quarters of ancient Anxanum (with Sacca, Civitanova and
Borgo) wants to bring the historical centre back to life. An association was established to this purpose. In Lancianovecchia there are important monuments such as the only remaining of the original nine doors, the churches of San Biagio and Sant'Agostino, the Fenaroli theatre, and the tower of San Giovanni.

A consumer's magazine reports over 200 million bottles sold in one year by company Gran Guizza spa. The reasons of such large sales are in the very low price (300 Lire) possible because there are no advertising expenses. The water comes from the Gran Sasso, and is exceptionally pure, light, low in minerals and diuretic.

Silvi - Inauguration of the library of Abruzzese poets / Nasce la biblioteca dei poeti abruzzesi
The elderly members of the Centro diurno della terza età in via D'Annunzio have set up a small library which will be inaugurated this Saturday with a recital of poets. Inside also an exhibition of embroidery works and paintings.

Crecchio - Gipsy history and culture / Storia e cultura zingara
In the Castello Ducale an exhibition on the culture of gipsies, beggars and chiromantists, artists (Paco Suarez, Django, Yul Brynner and Charlie Chaplin), victims of nazi persecutions. The inauguration was presided by Santino Spinelli, a member of the European commission for Rom children's schooling.
