"Viaggi d'autore" by Giuseppe di Tommaso about the travels through Abruzzo of Antonio De Nino and Edward Lear, is the latest achievement by the 80-member Academy which rose in 1663. The emblem is two ice blocks generating fire. Aim of the Academy is to spread culture.

Gabriele Sillari, 42, domiciled in Villa Raspa di Spoltore, patented an ecological engine working with water only, able to produce electricity and mechanical energy. He had the inspiration during a long voyage between Europe and Canada. The engine uses one liter water to lift two liters

Atri - An ancient Roman floor discovered / Vico Sacco: scoperto un antico pavimento di epoca romana, by Marco Mutoschi
Between viale Adriatico and vico Sacco workers were repairing the road, when they discovered a brick floor of Roman times. Antonio Assogna, Archeoclub president, believes there is a road or Roman house below the ground. Works on the road have been blocked for the moment until archeologists and historians can study the finding.
