A Tour escorted by Carlo Rubbia in the morning, a lesson with Antonino Zichichi in the afternoon to introduce the extraordinary experiment planned in 5 years time: from Geneve a neutrine band will be shot through a tunnel against a target 732 km away in the Infn Lab under the Gran Sasso.

Gigi Proietti is back to L'Aquila as president of the TSA (Teatro stabile abruzzese). Proietti is a supporter of a trend in the theater against the primadonna role of the director, for a greater emphasis on the actors, authors and audience. Falconio, the Region's President, said the theatre is a great resource for all Abruzzo.

Eighty-year-olds still address him as "signor maestro": Costantino Mariano Mascio, whose former students' ages range from 50 to 80, is still clear-minded and humourous. Born in Rivisondoli on 8 february 1900, he entered Sulmona's seminar, then at 17 was called to serve in WW1. At 22 he was a schoolteacher in Roccapia, where he stayed for 35 years. An only son with 8 sisters, he has 44 descendants throughout Canada and Italy.

Castelvecchio Subequo - In the year 2000 archeological excursions / Escursioni archeologiche
The 250-member Gruppo archeologico superequano, will organize excursions to Castelvecchio catacomb, Assisi, the italic necropolis at Forcacaruso, and show a documentary film on Celestino V and Abruzzo. membership is a nominal 20,000 lire

Atri - A centre for Sports Economy and Law / Nasce il corso in Diritto ed economia dello sport, by Marco Mutoschi
The first sports library in Abruzzo will be established in Atri by University of Teramo along with a post-graduate course in "Diritto ed economia dello sport nell'Unione europea". The library will be hosted in the locals of the former grammar school in vico del Teatro. Mayor Mario Marchese is proud of this new, fourth library in the small town, a library which will connect to a worldwide circuit.
