Sulmona - Forest's Corps, Meeting on the brown bear / Corpo forestale, convegno sull'orso bruno
The forests corps will launch next 18 February during a congress to be held in Sulmona a project to preserve the uniqueness of the Marsian brown bear, one of the most representative inhabitants of the Apennines. In the Serra Sparvera and Serra di Rocca Chiarano the brown bear is perfectly integrated among the other protected fauna and the sheepbreeding economy.

Lettomanoppello - DOB 1891, present domicile USA / Classe 1891, residenza USA vive negli Stati Uniti
Donata di Biase, born in Lettomanoppello on 29 december 1891 from a housewife and a blacksmith emigrated in 1925 with husband Agostino Breggia and first daughter. Her husband, a mason, died young, on the same day of the birth of their last son. Donata courageusly grew up her children alone. At 84 years old she came back to Italy for the first time since moving to America. She is still autonomous, does not need glasses, works the uncinetto, though, her granddaghter says, she complains she is getting old.

One day to remember the Holocaust / Una giornata sull'Olocausto, by Anna Fusaro
The day after tomorrow throughout Europe the liberation of Auschwitz (27 january 1945) will be commemorated. At the University of Teramo a congress of the title Il giorno della memoria - Passato, presente, shoah, porajmos, la memoria..." has been organized by historian Costantino Di Sante to remind people that Nazis did not want to exterminate Jews only, but gypsies as well. In the program survivor Piero Terracina's memories, presentation of CDRom "La menzogna della razza" and Costantino Di Sante's essay "L'internamento di ebrei e zingari in Abruzzo durante la seconda guerra mondiale"
