Next weekend at the Museo della preistoria d'Abruzzo, Celano, a congress on "Il Fucino e le aree limitrofe nell'antichità", with experts from all over Italy. On Friday 26 an exhibition under the title of "Amore e morte nell'Abruzzo antico", then on Saturday 27 the Fucino in protohistoric and Roman times, finally on Sunday the Middle Ages. Recently evidence of a village on palafitte was found near Celano.

But the B.A.A.A.S. for Abruzzo oppose the project, though the mayor believes the 300 watts supplied by the project to each construction will be perfect for eco-tourism in the area.
