Vasto mayor, Tagliente, in Naples this Saturday for Palizzi's anniversary / Tagliente sabato a Napoli per il centenario di Palizzi
A delegation from the municipality of Vasto led by the mayor, accompanied by Giovanna Di Matteo, Art Superintendent from L'Aquila, will be in Naples for the 100th anniversary of Filippo Palizzi's death. At 10 they will visit Palizzi's tomb, in the afternoon the Capodimonte museum. Participation is open to everybody.

Crecchio. Municipality anf health workers do not comply so the mayor buries himself a dead stray dog - by Rossano Orlando
Yesterday Orazio D'Alessio, fed up with the refusal of the various municipality bodies, decide to "do it himself". At 9,30 a phone call informed a dead dog was in an old warehouse at Villa Tucci. Municipality workers with an excavator refused to do anything since the dog was big, difficult to reach and decomposing. The same with the health workers. So the mayor called his cousin, and with the help of a shovel buried the dog himself.

Mario Nevoso's proposal to make an all-religion chapel in the airport / La proposta di Mario Nevoso, promotore della cappella dei viaggiatori all'aeroporto «Un luogo di culto per tutte le religioni»
An ecumenic church in a multi-ethnic Pescara. Travel agent Mario Nevoso says it would be the only one in Italy and would convey the Jubilee message of peace. Instead of separate sinagogues, churches, temples and mosques, one building with separate walls for each cult.
