At Canzano (TE) the 16th Ruzzola Championship, with 42 teams and 6 players each. Three teams are from the province of Teramo (Canzano, Montorio and Castellalto). The ruzzola game consists in making an object in the form of a cheese cake (once it was real cheece, now a piece of oakwood) roll over the ground, along a pre-established path. The teams will have to complete 3 paths, and will have 10 launches: victory on the points total. This game dates back from Roman times, it was a "poor" game. It was forbidden on religious festivals and near religious buildings.

A great success of the medieval re-enactment «Il ritorno dei cavalieri del Tempio» che si è in the citadel of Castelnuovo (municipality of San Pio delle Camere, province of L'Aquila). In the historical centre there were scenes with minstrels, soldiers and knights in armor, a craftswork market, and stands offering dishes prepared accorfing to XIII-century recipes.
