Grandfather: Antonio Conicello or Antonio Faldo Conicello left Italy in 1901. I believe he is from Chieti region. He settled in Conshohocken, PA (USA). His brother, Nicholas also settled in Conshohocken.

In response to two listings I saw out on this site. Family name of Gallerizzi and Piccioni. My great-aunt (Carmela) is from both sides. My mother (Mary) her niece is from the Piccioni side (Bernardo and Louisa-her parents). All from Isola del Gran Sasso and Pescara area. Most of the family now live in Maryland. I'm trying to locate my grandmother's family who migrated to America by the name of d'Onofrio. Her parents (mother's name Filomena) and two brothers. (one was named Ludovico) and sister Domenica d'Onofrio were born in Foro, Abbruzzi. My grandmother was born in 1892. Ludovico left for America to find work then Domenica and parents followed. They left behind two sisters, my grandmother Margherita, (who was waiting for her fiance to return from america) and her sister Graziella who was married. Domenica from America wrote many letters and sent many packages to my grandmother who married Giovanni Loca around 1923 in Ripa Teatina prov. Chieti. They had three children, Giulia, Filomena and Giovanni Loca. Domenica died in 1947 and was about 80yrs old. In italy there lives a Linda who is about 80 yrs old and is the daughter of Graziella in Chieti.)

Would love to contact any cousins. I am the daughter of Filomena, my mother is 82yrs old and would love to discover long lost relatives. Her sister and brother have long passed away and am now writing book on my family's history. Have much on Caprara and Loca family but grandma's story in America has been lost. For mum and dad's 65th wedding anniversary, this would be a great present. Thanks

At age 12, he immigrated to the USA with his brothers Pietro (7) and Salvatore (9) in June, 1905 on the ship Germania from Naples.
