Italy's Wonders: Sardinia
Two short films made by Treccani in the 1980s were dedicated to Sardinia, one of the most picturesque islands in the Mediterranean. Albeit surrounded by one of the most beautiful seas in the world, the island preferred to write its own history inland, while foreign colonists settled only in the coastal zone.
To get to know the Sardinian people you have to go into the heart of the region, where the ancient culture was preserved, creating a sort of island within an island.
