Anacapri tour

Anacapri tour Anacapri is a small town situated on the island of Capri, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and garden terraces overlooking the Mediterranean. In its territory is the celebrated Blue Grotto.

The tour begins at the Casa Rossa, an eclectic, strange house created in the late 19th century by Americal Colonel John Clay MacKowen, and the Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe Museum, created by Swedish physician and author Axel Munthe (1857-1949), who spent on the island 56 years of his life: he bought a large area of land on Mount Barbarossa and made it a sanctuary for migratory birds. On his death, he donated the estate to the Swedish nation, which established here an honorary Consulate. The tour then proceeds to the discovery of the typical ravioli of Anacapri, with a short description on how to make them.
